Water Ingestion
Through medical prescription it is established a program of daily ingestion of water according to specified qualities.
This water ingestion is supervised by a technician who doses the water censuring the quantity prescribed and marks down on the bulletin the ingestions made.
Balneotherapy
Bath – It is a simple bath in a tub.
Hydro massage – It is a bath where the automatic mechanisms are activated on the tub to produce the hydro massage.
Sub Aquatic Shower – Technique which consists on the application of a jet of water with great pressure under water directed to the area which is being treated. For this effect a hose is used by a technician. This treatment acts through the pressure of the water or temperature, although the pressure used is the most effective way.
Vichy Shower with massage –This is a very popular technique and it has conquered fame for its relaxing effects. It conciliates the massage effects and the benefice of the water jets. The 4 hand massage made by 2 technicians working in perfect syntony, permits a more deep relaxation, not to mention the mechanical benefit and stimulations of the actual massage.
Scottish Shower – It is a shower where it is possible not only to vary the temperature, but also the pressure of the water jet, with results highly stimulating. Guided for the muscles, relaxing, or, in a more diffused way on the body in general, it provokes a pleasant effect of total relaxation.
Lumbar Shower – This shower’s objective is to ease muscular pain to the lumbar region. Its processed by the application of a water jet directed to the lumbar area of the user who is seated with he’s back to the technician.
Circular Shower – The user will be in between 3 vertical columns which have various showers, receiving water through out the body except head and feet. It has a sedative action to the skin and stimulates circulation.
Semicupio – It’s a shower in the rectal area in the proper space and using the adequate equipment giving relief to irritable haemorrhoid infections or allergies in that area.
Enteroclise(Colonic Irrigation) – It’s the introduction of thermal water into the interior of the intestines with the objective of treating colitis.
Gynaecological Irrigation –As the name refers, it’s the introduction of a shower into the vagina.
Inhalation Therapy
Inhalation Therapy – The thermal water is transformed in vapour and is inhaled by the user, making it circulate through the respiratory system. It is especially indicted to treat sinusitis, bronchitis and asthma.
Nasal Shower – With the appropriate equipment, water is passed through the superior respiratory cavities with the objective of cleaning those areas.
Physiotherapy
General Manual Massage - Generalized massage through out the whole body. The massage effects are separated into 3 groups: Relaxing effects: produced in the skin, stimulation of the peripheral receptors which transmit impulses to the brain, producing pleasure or relaxing sensations. Mechanical effects: helps the blood flow return of the circulatory system. Stimulating effects: contradicting the progressive atrophy of the organs due to sedentary lifestyle, which the majority is subject to.
Partial Manual Massage – It’s the massage made only to a specific part of the body with the same effects as of the general massage but limited to the massaged area.
